Advantages of Silicon Carbide Furniture
Excellent high temperature resistance
Silicon carbide itself has a high melting point, which enables silicon carbide kiln furniture to withstand temperatures of 1600°C or even higher. In a high-temperature kiln environment, ordinary kiln furniture is prone to soften and deform, while silicon carbide kiln furniture can maintain a stable physical form, providing reliable support for fired objects and ensuring a smooth firing process. It is particularly suitable for high-temperature firing processes, such as the production of special ceramics and refractory materials.
Excellent thermal conductivity
Its thermal conductivity is much higher than that of traditional kiln furniture materials. During the kiln heating stage, heat can be quickly transferred to the objects being fired, shortening the heating time; during the firing process, the objects can be heated evenly, reducing product defects caused by uneven temperature and improving product quality. For the firing of precision ceramics that require extremely high temperature uniformity, silicon carbide kiln furniture has significant advantages.
High strength and wear resistance
It has high hardness and mechanical strength, can withstand heavier fired objects, and is not easily deformed under heavy pressure. At the same time, it can maintain good wear resistance in the face of movement and friction of objects during the firing process, greatly reducing the trouble of frequent replacement of kiln tools, reducing production costs, and improving production efficiency, playing an outstanding role in large-scale industrial production.

It can withstand frequent and drastic temperature changes. During the heating and cooling process of the kiln, it is not easy to crack or peel off due to thermal stress, which prolongs the service life of the kiln furniture.
